11      Major Database Release Number (This will change when any major changes occurs i.e Architecture Change)

2        Database Maintenance Release Number (This will change when some minor change occurs in database)

0        Fusion Middleware Release Number

1        Component Specific Release Number  (This will change when any new more updated patches release to fix bug)

0        Platform Specific Release Number       (This includes patches for security fixes and bug fixes) For upgrade this we have to download PSU Patch because it fixes Priority as well as Security.

Different Patches

Critical Patch Updates (CPU), Security Patch Updates (SPU)

          Collection of Security Fixes Released Every 3 Months.

Patch Set Updates (PSU)

          Cumulative Patches that include Priority Fixes (Bug Fixes) as well as Security Fixes.
